DEPUTY PROBATION OFFICER I (LATERAL TRANSFER)
PLUS a $24,000 hiring bonus for California Probation Officers transferring from outside Los Angeles County.
As a California Probation Officer outside of LA County, you can transfer to LACP and earn a $24,000 hiring bonus!

Key qualifications for these positions:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Currently employed as a Probation Officer outside of Los Angeles County.
- An eligible candidate is an individual who is currently working in a California Probation Department equivalent to Deputy Probation Officer I.
- Provide proof of BSCC STC transcript and/or certificate within 7 days of filing.
- Possess a valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternate method of transportation.
*$24K over a 2-year period to lateral transfer (external to Los Angeles County Probation) peace officer candidates who quality for the position of Deputy Probation Officer I will receive payments phased-in every 6 months.

DEPUTY PROBATION OFFICER II (LATERAL TRANSFER)
PLUS a $24,000 hiring bonus for California Probation Officers transferring from outside Los Angeles County.
