DEPUTY PROBATION OFFICER I
$65,430 - $83,515 per year

DEPUTY PROBATION OFFICER II (TREATMENT AND COUNSELING)
$77,370 - $110,077 per year
Join our mission to make a difference! LACP is seeking highly motivated individuals to guide youth in redirecting behavior into positive, pro-social channels. If you’re passionate about coaching, counseling, and working with our youth, we want you on our team!
Be a mentor and role model, guiding at-risk youth toward brighter futures.

- Make a Difference: Provide individual therapy plans to probation youth and their families, helping to improve their lives and futures.
- Lead and Collaborate: Act as a team leader, planning and implementing mental health programs using proven casework skills and techniques.
- Support the Department: Prepare reports and recommendations for the Probation Department and the court, playing a key role in the decision-making process.
- Engage in Hands-On Work: Supervise youth in various facilities and run small group sessions using evidence-based cognitive interventions.
- Competitive Salary: Earn a competitive salary ranging from $77,370 to $110,077 per year.

- A passion for helping young people
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- The ability to stay calm and collected under pressure
- A Master's* Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college.
*Appointees must either be currently licensed or pursuing their licensure in their area of specialty with the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners or the California Board of Psychology.
